Meet the Doctor
Dr. Kevin O'Dell
Hello, I am Dr. Kevin O’Dell. I was born and raised here in Michigan. My decision of studying Chiropractic came from my personal experience and insight into the wonderful benefits of chiropractic care. Growing up in a chiropractic family meant I received regular chiropractic care, avoided medicines such as vaccinations, antibiotics and over the counter medicines and kept an active lifestyle. After spending two years of undergraduate studies, I decided on a career in the field of Chiropractic. I studied in Marietta, Georgia at Life Chiropractic College where I then earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. In 1994 I decided to move back to Michigan and begin my career. I spent the next ten years of clinical practice with my father Dr. James O’Dell in Westland, Michigan. In November of 2003 I opened up in Lathrup Village and we have been serving the people of the tri-county areas since! My wife Christa of eight years and two children feel fortunate and blessed everyday. We are given the opportunity to serve others through Chiropractic which affords cleaner living, longevity, improved function and feeling through a drug free and safe approach to healing. We look forward to serving all our years ahead through our Lathrup Village clinic and are happy to know and share in the lives of so many unique people and families. May we all continue with good health, naturally, through chiropractic care.

Our Philosophy
The chiropractic philosophy of health states the body is a self-healing organism. While traditional medicine treats symptoms, chiropractic tries to remove the cause of health problems.
Traditional medicine is good for “crisis care”, it saves lives. Chiropractic offers true health care by empowering you directly and instantly. We do not cover up symptoms or dope the body chemistry. Chiropractic offers your inborn wisdom a chance for healing and recovery. We are the only profession trained and licensed in the science and art of specific spinal adjustments.
Chiropractors, throughout their years of training, are able to locate where misplaced spinal vertebrae impinge on the nerves which go down through the spinal column to the muscles, organs and glands of the body. These nerve impingements are called subluxations. Many people are not aware that they have subluxations due to the fact they are not in pain. Most subluxations do not cause pain until many years later (like cavities in the teeth.) Yet, the body is weakening without their full knowledge. Sometimes we may only live tomorrow by giving attention, care and insight to today. Please let us help you care for your most valuable commodity, your central nervous system.
Your spinal cord is your life line. Let chiropractic help you!
